Our eight students who had qualified for Cross Country Division competed on Tuesday against the qualifying students in other school of our division. The conditions were difficult as they waited for their races in wet weather and bitter temperatures around 10 degrees. The course was muddy and riddled with puddles to avoid. In true sportsmanship spirit though, they soldiered on and completed the course, giving their very best. Abi (3/4B) and Eva (6F) qualified for the Regionals! They should be proud of themselves!
Two of CJC students have made it to the next level, the Regional’s Cross Country, which will take place in June at Hastings Foreshore; we wish Eva (6F) and Abi (3/4B) the very best on the day. They both made it in the top 10 of their category. Well done!
