LOCKDOWN FROM MAY 28 TO JUNE 10, 2021
REMOTE AND FLEXIBLE LEARNING RESOURCES
As announced on Thursday May 27, 2021, There will be a lockdown affecting the people of Victoria. Schools will be closed and students will learn remotely during this period. Remote and Flexible learning comes with its rewards and challenges. It is important for parents and carers to understand that they are not expected to be teachers and although it might be frustrating to not have all the answers, it is completely normal. Some days will unfold better than others and that is fine. The most important actions you can do are to continue to provide routine, support and encouragement to your child. The real challenge with this model goes beyond academic results, but is about maintaining a positive outlook and nurturing the students and families’ health and wellbeing.
Your child's teacher has prepared a worksheet booklet to minimise the interruption in the program. Please click on the relevant link below to access your child's remote and flexible worksheet booklet.
Commencing on Monday 7 June, families will see:
new and upgraded learning timetables
increased online presence from our teachers
increased use of digital platforms for instruction
increased access to our Specialist programs
This week<s timetable is available through Class Dojo and Google Classroom.
The Specialist lessons, French Enrichment and Tutoring Program small groups will be included in the timetable.
