Hebrew Immersion - Policies and Procedures

Class Start Times

Classes commence at 8.00am sharp. We appreciate that, for some, it is difficult to get to school early in the morning, however late comers cause a disruption to the class, and unfairly disadvantage children who arrive on time.

Enrolment

The enrolment policy for the Hebrew Immersion program (HIP) at CJC has been developed in conjunction with the School Administration.

  • Fees are set annually and are payable in advance by the end of the proceeding term or upon enrolment for the new year at the school office.
  • Fees paid annually in advance receive a 5% discount.
  • A direct debit or credit card authority is available for automatic payment at the end of each proceeding term on invoice.
  • Students who withdraw, will not receive refunds for part terms and no credit is available for missed classes.
  • Arrangements for those experiencing difficulties paying fees can be made by contacting the School Principal.
  • Students will not be permitted to attend classes if fees are in arrears remain unpaid.

Grievances

For problems encountered with the program, the first port of call is your class teacher. Failing that, please speak to the Hebrew Program coordinator. Further enquires may be directed to Noxia Angelides (Director of Curriculum) and Helen Hilton (member of the HIP Hebrew committee).

Photos

Over the course of the year the coordinator may take photos of children at work for the AJN 'Around the Schools' section or the CJC school newsletter. Publication of these images is covered by the CJC policy on photographic reproduction. Please notify the school office if you do not wish your child to be photographed.
